Insight Investment,the UK ’s third largest manager of pension fund assets*, has appointed Joanna Fidling as director, local authorities. Reporting to Gordon Phillips, head of business development, she will spearhead Insight’s campaign to bring its pension fund solutions to the local authority market.
Joanna joins Insight from UBS Global Asset Management, where she was head of UK institutional client & business development. During her time at UBS, Joanna initiated a completely new marketing approach to local authority clients, establishing contact with key officers at UK local authorities and ensuring comprehensive understanding of products and capabilities. Prior to that, she spent 17 years at Mercury Asset Management in various roles.
