As part of its continuing European growth strategy, Insight Investment has appointed Olaf John as head of Europe to lead its European business development programme. Olaf joins Insight in March from Lehman Brothers Asset Management where he was head of distribution for Germany and Austria. Olaf will report to Sarah Aitken, head of distribution, and will oversee an eleven-strong sales team.
Olaf is a qualified actuary and former investment consultant. He has twenty year’s experience including senior distribution roles at Barclays Global Investors, Fidelity and Capital International, working with European pension funds and retail distributors.
