SPECIALIST EQUITIES: ABSOLUTE RETURN & INCOME SOLUTIONS

Specialist equities form an important part of our investment capability, whether as a stand-alone vehicle or as part of a multi-asset solution. Our highly-experienced specialist equities team offers two distinct strategies. The first is an absolute return, market neutral strategy, which aims to provide attractive, positive returns independent of equity market direction. The approach seeks to capitalise on inefficiencies which lead to certain stocks being mispriced relative to other, similar stocks, or the broader market.

The second strategy focuses on funds specialising in generating income. Our range of equity income funds take a very long-term view in terms of investment horizon, typically biased towards large-cap companies where we see the potential for attractive dividend yields.

Insight UK Equity Income Booster Fund

The Fund aims to deliver higher income than traditional equity income funds by combining a traditional approach of investing in income-generating UK equities with a call option overlay to boost income. The Fund’s current annual income target is approximately 8%. The Fund distributes income on a monthly basis.

Absolute Insight Fund Range overview

The Absolute Insight fund range encompasses credit, currency, equity market neutral and emerging market debt funds. These Funds aim to deliver absolute positive returns in all market conditions with low levels of volatility.

Insight Equity High Income Fund

The Fund aims to provide income and long-term capital growth by investing primarily in UK equities. The Fund distributes income on a quarterly basis.

Insight Monthly Income Fund

The Fund aims to provide income and long term capital growth by investing primarily in a mix of UK equities and gilts. The Fund distributes income on a monthly basis.
